Beginners chocolate cake!

This blog has been in the works for a while now, and I thought the best way to begin would be this 'oh so simple yet super delicious' chocolate cake. I have made this one atleast a million times and it has never failed.A lot of my friends have tried it and it has not failed even in the hands of those people who are known to burn water :D

So go ahead, try it!..Surprise yourself!

Yields- 12-15 servings, however, my sis and I can polish the entire thing off.

What you need:-
170 g butter
320 g sugar
3 eggs
100g flour
70 g cocoa powder (I love Cadburys)
1 teaspoon baking powder

How:
1. Melt the butter.
2. Beat the eggs with sugar, add flour, cocoa, baking powder, and melted butter.
3. Bake in an oven at 180deg C  for about 20- 25 mins or in the microwave on medium heat for about 5-6 mins.
4. Done.  :)

Now that is the basic version. Depending on the ocassion or your taste you can add 2 tablespoons of your favourite alcohol (stay clear of red wine), raisins, walnuts, chocochips,( all coated in flour) or try this super easy frosting (melt 100g of  semi sweet chocolate with 40g of butter, add one egg white, mix well n pour over the cooled cake).
